Why are my messages not coming up

I've have left several messages now on various questions that have not been posted. I can see other people's responses but not mine. I have commented today on a fear of flying question and so far my response has not come up. Please, if people are taking the time to respond to people's questions, then you can at least post them.

There could be a couple of things going on. First, the moderators are volunteers, and if none happen to be around answers (and questions) can pile up. On occasion the delay can stretch to several hours. I see that you have a answer posted on the question about fear of flying, so perhaps that was one of those days where things were slow.
