Resolved Issues?

Hey Andrew...

I was thinking that maybe original question posters can mark a thread on the main site "Resolved" either with the word or an icon depiction, if they find that their issue was solved. Maybe even add an extra box that allows those same question posters to type out how they're issue was solved to give readers an idea, etc.

I've thought about this and am aware that a lot of other QnA type sites have a "resolved" button but I'm not sure how helpful it is... I'd rather they just posted a followup which is automagically flagged as a "followup" and these can be tracked via the "followups" link on the menu bar (or your personal bar for those Q's you've answered).... anyone else got views?
