Report to moderator

On the the bottom of a thread, where the option to report a post to a moderator, what does this actually do?

There was / is many links for porn which need to be deleted. I reported to moderator and logged in as a mod, but was unable to do anything about it. Is this aimed at just Andrew, or should moderators have the ability to remove such posts?

Hi David

It logs all reports to a database......... at the moment I don't actually do anything with it but in the future the reports will get incorporated into the management interface and moderators will be able to delete threads/messages... at the moment it's only me who has this facility.
