making the first move

witch-firewitch-fire, posted over a year ago

Ok, an easy one guys and girls;

Is making the first move up to the man or the woman?

Which is better?

From a man's point of view it's better if the woman makes the first move, and vice-versa. it's only ever happened to me once though. Maybe I'm not as smooth, suave and sophisticated as I might have thought I was.

Don't women think guys ever get tired of it? We take all the chances. We fear all the rejection. And you guys, having never experienced rejection can be brutal on men. I have been treated mercilessly by a woman that would crumple under the slightest bit of rejection from a guy. I am not speculating. I have approached a woman I work with and get skewered. Then see the same woman flirt with a guy and get rejected and shut f'ing down.

I was asked out several times by girls when I was in college. From a purely selfish standpoint it was better for me, but I don't think that one is better than the other in the grand scheme.

I just figured that if a girl was interested in me and I wasn't paying attention, she should let me know. Me not paying attention just meant that I saw no signs of interest, so I would move on to what I thought were better opportunities - girls who were giving overt signs.

Some girls may have played that stupid "hard to get" game. If any were playing that game, then they succeeded - I never asked them out!

I like it when the guys make the first move, then I can skewer them like last night's roast beef.

Oh Eyes we know you and your pathetic and thinly veiled attempts at emasculating men on this site. You think I would miss the skewered comment.

And now for something completely different. Done any laundry lately? In your laundry stiletto's? Talk to me eyes. You know I only have eyes for you.

It's like those pictures when you think you see a couple dancing and twirling and you keep staring at it and suddenly it becomes two dogs humping each other in a vacant lot.

Now that you have ruined the one joy in my life. I always was excited to see your avatar and say. Oh it will be a lovely day today. Eyes is in the house and I love to hear her kind and gentle words. Now I realize it's some broad leering in at me like like MY MOTHER! Which reminds me. I need to go check on her restraints.

THERES NO BEAR IN THAT AVATAR.... Oh my goodness thats one insult i wouldnt take sitting down eyes...i'd knock HIM with the frying pan upside HIS bonnet. And then we could tie him up and gag him (definitely stuff a sock in his mouth) and have our way with him. hehe OP: Definitely ask him out.
