Anyone else?

JustaGuy, posted over a year ago

Hey all,

My ex broke up with me 3 weeks ago, i'm having a hard time getting over it. It came as a total shock to me and i miss her so so much. She has gone home for the summer to work and is returning in a month. She broke up with me before she left saying she needed space, she promised there was no one else.

I try to gout out and take my mind of it but all i can think about is her and the time we spent together.

Anyone else going through this now? just so i dont feel so alone...the heartache is killing me

I'm in the same boat. My fiancee broke up with me 2 months ago saying he didn't know what he wanted and that there definately wasn'y anyone else. His ease to walk away did start me thinking, how can he just cut off all his feelings for me like that, but it has now come out that he has been going out with a girl he works with. I'm gutted, devestated. The break up like yours came as a total shock as i thought we were to be together forever and because i love him with all my heart.

People say time makes it easier but two months on, after going out and getting on with things he is all i think about, want, and need if i'm honest.

so i understand you...it's terrible!

I'm sorry to here that. It must be hard especially since he was your fiancee. If i were to fing out my ex broke it off becuase she was cheating i would'nt know what to do with myself!

I would do anything to get her back, and she too is all i think about.

Its nearly been a month now, i still need her !

We've just got to be strong i guess, its so hard though. I miss her so much....

As you have discovered its very rare for someone to break a relationship out of the blue without someone else being on the horizon. Natures way usually has people moving on to someone else before they end the previous relationship. It sucks and drives me insane! How people have the gaul to be cheating on someone & lie.

You are better off without him or her & dont know it yet but will meet someone worthy of your love.

Be patient!

C xxxxx

My wife left me four days after our anniversary of one year of marriage. She said she had got fed up. Got bored. We werent getting on but thats no reason to end it.Its a two way thing to work at it. I asked her if there was anyone else but she said that she wouldn't do that to me.She just fell out of love for me.I still havent got a definitive answer. Not spoken or heard from her since. Its been six weeks now.Im lonely without her.Not knowing the "real" reason why she left is getting me down big time. I miss her terribly but wouldn't have her back becuase of the heartache she has caused me and my family.

marriages can be quite lonely and cause one of the partners to become board.
