im_a_dummy agony aunt"Babes, your the best mummy in the world. Your not dumb for asking questions, you want to do your best, so you go and get information. Don't be scared, don't be worried, your baby will be so proud to know all the things your doing to make him grow up good. Anytime you have any questions, you just come back and ask. Your not a dummy, your a sensible mummy, you ask questions, you learn, so that you can do your best to make your son a strong man. If you were my mummy, I'd be very proud... don't forget to come back when the baby is born"

TasteofIndia agony auntYou're so not stupid at all!!! Please, please, please come back with any questions that you have. Even if you were 38 and having a kid, you'd still have a lot of questions. Pregnancy and child raising is a mystery to us all until we get there and then we all rely on the wisdom of others to help us adjust and get good at it ourselves.

You're totally not stupid - if you were, you wouldn't be asking any questions at all!! You'll be a great Mom! Congrats!

TasteofIndia agony auntOh my GOD, seriously. Things I get day by day:

"Did you parents want a boy?"

"Did your parents think you were a boy?"

"ARE you a boy?"

"Why don't you change your name?"

(that ones the worst, I mean come on. I don't say "Melvin, that's a horrible name, why don't you change it?" - no offense Melvin's.)

Diovan - YES!! We should make a club or something.

Hey Taste of India has a boys name like me.. wasn't you traumatised, didn't they make jokes about your boys name and your girl's body .. If I had a pound for every "well your a funny type of boy".. well do you think I'd be still sitting here?

TasteofIndia agony auntI know a guy named Jade and I always thought his name was super cool. So I think you should go for it. "Jay" for short... Aiden as a first name is completely cute but I feel like everyone and their mother is naming their kid Aiden, Hayden, Jaiden, Kaiden.... I think Jade is a little more unique.

Boy named Sue. You know, I'm a girl named Michael and it's been AWESOME. I love having a name with character - it's a good conversation starter and I'm just crazy about it. Thank you parents!!

"Spartacus, I am Spartacus".. is it rude to disagree and shout...Don't do it, that's as bad as naming a boy Sue.

Dash and bother.. I'm a real forgetful person, I should have remembered it was you.. lol

Naming is very, very important. I believe that names have a strong influence on personality, character and a person's future. I like names that mean something and names that have deep meaning. Think carefully, check some of the name meaning websites on the Internet. The choices you have looked at already sound really good. Jade is a personal favourite of mine, and is a precious lucky stone in places like China. Jade brings good luck... Jade and Diamond... lol, both precious pieces of jewelry, and very expensive and treasured.. I think I kind of like that, it makes me smile. I know many guys called Aiden, and I find them unusually handsome and very nice people. Anyway, it's not only the sound that matters, but also the meaning of names. Look them up and see what they mean.

Only thing, I'm used to Jade as a girls name, maybe Jadien, the boy's version might suit better... Take time, your son will have to live with his name for a long, long time.

PS: I know your nervous, but I can see that you are thinking deeply about many things that may affect your sons future. You are considering what's best for him, asking questions and making up your own mind about what you want. I believe, if you keep doing what your doing now, your son will be a lucky guy.... Take care babes, you ask your questions and fight to give your son the best things in life.. Blessings

There's an excellent site that I recommend to all my friends who are expecting. You put in your last name, and it comes up with a first and middle name for you. You can do it as many times as you want, and you can also take a good look around the site itself. Quite a variety!
