Hi,
The best you can do is to write a follow up response to the question or questions you answered.
Only if an old post was noticed as especially offensive (rare) then the owner of the site (dearcupid) can be contacted and could be asked to remove an offensive post - an answer or the question, though removing the question would also remove all the answers.
I do not think any of your posts could ever be described as offensive.
Even Moderators cannot change a published answer, if it was posted some time in the distant past (and would not want to in any case).
Yes values and attitudes and even our responses to situations change over time.
Your answers were entirely valid and accepted and published at the time.
Perhaps you've had a change of heart since that time. Perfectly reasonable.
If you feel that updated advice is called for then if you post a new answer then your new revised response will show up at the top of the thread.
Thus I encourage you to post the revised updated response as an answer to the original question you answered.
Hope that helps?
Regards
Abella
