delete meaages from yera ago

i can,t seem to delete meassgaes from year ago there is no delete option so how i get of them

if i remember right, you can delete messages you receive, but not the messages you send. There is a limit to how many your mailbox will hold, and once it is full, each time one is added to the top, it bumps the oldest one off. I dont know why this is. Hope that helps, mal
