I'm 26 and my gf is 48 which is a couple years younger than my mom! Age is just a number. 14 years has got nothing on 22! As long as your both happy. Just be sure up front what you both want out of the relationship. Good luck. : )

I think if you're over 18, you can date whoever the hell you want as long as the feelings are mutual. Age really is just a number! However in teenagers, I think that anything over 2 1/2 years is a little much....I guess it depends too.

If the age difference bothers you at all you shouldnt get into it. If you do anyway then relationship is more likelly to fail. Then you will blame it on the age difference. Its easier than admitting you made a bad decision from the outset or that he's run off with a younger woman.
