Okay, so I’ve been attempting to teach my almost two year old grandson to call me “Grandma”. He would respond with the lame “mee maw” or “maw maw”, which of course is totally unacceptable. So I strived to emphasize the “GR” in “Grandma”. Now when he wants my attention he leans forward and growls at me. It has raised eyebrows at the grocery store I can tell you. My first grandchild just turned 12 and calls me Grandma, I held out until he got it right. I'm one tough old bird and Mee Maw just doesn't cut it with me. The little curtain climbers need to know who rules the roost.
