What connection, if any, is there between WikiPedia and WikiLeaks?

No connection, as far as I know. The 'pedia' is an online, open encyclopedia which can be added to by anyone anywhere. The 'leaks' consist of various tidbits of 'confidential info' related to government and political secrets.

I suspect cat lady is right. "Wiki" is a prefix that usually refers to a site that anyone can edit. Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia that users can modify. I don't quite get how Wikileaks fits the 'wiki' mode; I suspect the name was chosen to underline that it's founder was outside of usual vetting procedures.
