His Past

Ive been seeing my partner for six months. Although we have a very open relationship and I am greatful he has told me about his past I find it difficult to deal with.

He has had several 'flings' or relationships with people I work with (although not directly they are in a different departments). I have asked him alot about these relationships and he has answered most of my questions, although recently he has been getting annoyed and keeps telling me he does not see why we have to discuss it so much as it is in the past. I feel I have to talk about it because I don't want to feel as if I am another 'fling'. He says he loves me without being prompted and at the strangest times so I have no concerns that he doesnt. I just can't cope with some of the things he has done and think about it for hours on end sometimes, then I either end up in tears or sometimes I am physically sick.

Am I just being silly for feeling like this? I really do love him but I don't know how to cope with this.

You might find that you get a better response if you post in the main part of Dear cupid and ask for help, not that many see it here.

WELL THIS IS CALLED INSECURITIE, I ONCE SUFFERED WITH TOO, WELL MY FELLER WAS WITH HIS EX 21YEARS AND THEY NEARLY HAD A BABY SHE GOT RID OF IT BECAUSE SHE HAD CYCISTIC FIBROSIST WHICH IS PAST THROUGH THE JEANS,THEN THEY SPLIT UP SO HE SLEPT WITH OVER 100 GIRLS THATS INCLUDEING CHEATEING ON HER TOO HIS 40 NOW. AND THATS ALL I THOUGHT ABOUT CONSTANTELY WAS HOW MANY FLINGS HE HAD IN TIME I REALISED IF I WAS A FLING WOULD HE BE TEELING ME HE LOVED ME AND STILL BE WITH ME TODAY? I EXSEPT THE FACT THAT HE HAS EN EX AS I HAVE THEM TOO. BUT IN TIME YOU WILL FIND IT WILL FADE AWAY AS FOR NOW TRY NOT TO ASK TO MUCH ABOUT HIS EX'S AS HE MAY REALISE HE DID MISTAKES BY SLEEPING WITH THEM BUT DOESNT WANT IT TO AFFECT HIS FUTURE WITH YOU. BUT I FOUND 6MONTHS WAS PREETY HARD IN MY RALATIONSHIP AS I WAS EXSPECTING HIM TO LEAVE SOME DAY SOON AND NOW 10MONTHS AFTER THAT 6MONTHS(16MONTHS) HIS STILL BY MY SIDE TELLING ME HE LOVES ME.
