I wanna forget everything after a fight

shanika123, posted over a year ago

I had 2 arguments with my boyfriend in a row and on a very simple reason. It was his fault that he couldnt return my phone calls since he was with his friends and I scolded him the following day. He kept silent saying nothing and that means he is hurt. he didnt call the next day aftr the fight also, and then i called and apologised. He said all right but I know he has nt forgiven me and hings are not same it used to be I feel. He is a nice person except for this problem and I haven t done anythin wrong other than this scolding. I feel really guilty that I want to forget everything or kill myself. For two days i havent done anythin productive at my office also since i cant forget this. Can anybody suggest how i can get over this please. I m gonna go mad i guess.

This is going to sound provincial. And I don't mean it to be adversarial. But some of the people posting from the old school countries confuse me. It may make it easier in the short term to think the guy is always right and for the woman be the one that has to go the distance and make things work. But I don't see how this way of thinking is healthy to the relationship in the long run.

I have also noticed a tendency for the woman from these countries to snap and end up telling the man to to piss up a rope and go f them selves.

Do what you want, but I think it would be better for the men to admit to playing some part in the friction and meet somewhere in the middle and fix things together and avoid this scenario.
