Why do angel boyfriends turn out to be monster exes?

Question to all males:

My boyfriend always tells me that he has never met any female who has the kindest, most white heart he has known as me. (I am the only woman he seriously dated) I was always understanding to him, never calls him names, even during fights I always accepted his excuses but will never ever treat him with disrespect.

He always tells me this is the reason why he loves me, because I am a very special person and my qualities are rare.

The same boyfriend who is now my ex is treating me rudely. Although he never calls me names but replies to my texts coldly with just a "no", "yes", "I don't know". And refuses to pay the money he owes me and delays the the time of payment.

I have read about people like this on this site and I keep on wondering, what makes guys turn from someone so respectful become very disrespectful to you..in just a few days difference?

During the relationship he was an angel, now he is an ex..he is a monster.

What is my fault? I just want my money back and he can afford it very much but is just to stubborn to pay..

Perhaps you should ask this on the main site rather than the forum. The forum is just a madhouse where people let off steam.

Click on the red 'Ask For Help' bit on the main page and follow the instructions. You'll get far more sense there than here.

Angels do not become demons, my dear. They were simply demons to begin with.

People don't change 'over night'. At their core, they are what they are, regardless whether they used to be nice or not.

At the same time, we also have to look at his actions and reactions coinciding with you. Right at this moment, we have a biased view of your former lover. We know nothing about you.
