Thinking About Breaking-Up

He's a social person and spends a lot of time on video games and social life with his friends and I feel like there's no time for us anymore. Usually whenever we're both online, we'll play a game or something but instead he chose to play a video game and get back to me in an hour. I felt hurt that when he does have free time to spend with me, he rather do something else...Then we got into a fight afterwords and he said I was too clingy. Should I just end it?

Hello,

I've just been through a similar thing. My now ex boyfriend started to find any opportunity to run away from me to do the things he liked that I didn't. He is very sociable but because I'm older and most of my friends have settled down, I preferred to take car of the finance and make sure the house was in order. We hadn't been out anywhere together for about a month and then we broke up this weekend. If he's treating you like you're a burden you should both have some time away from each other to review whether you are actually right for each other. I know my boyfriend still has a lot of growing up to do, so I have just had to let him get on with it. Maybe you can still be friends? I would say not to just leave things as they are, because then they start to fester and you begin to resent each other. I hope it doesn't get to that stage. Just take some time out for a while. At least you'll understand where you're up to. Good luck with that xx
